Why GiveMeTheJob?

In May 2026, I was unemployed.

And like a lot of people looking for work, I spent a ridiculous amount of time editing CVs.

For every job, I opened the same CV again. Add this experience. Remove that project. Rewrite the summary. Move a section up. Move another one down. Fix the layout because one sentence suddenly pushed everything onto a second page.

An hour could disappear just preparing one application.

I tried CV builders. Some were easier, until I finished the CV and discovered I had to pay 149 SEK a month to keep using or download what I had just created.

I already had another CV from my previous employer too. It was my experience, my projects, my career, but the document itself wasn't really mine to work with.

At some point I stopped asking:
